Day 9 - ‘in-a-minute’
Good Morning
I am looking today at the parable of the sower Matthew 13. The strange thing in this story is Jesus gets the listeners to look at the ground, not the sower. If you drive past a tractor working in a field, you look at the tractor. You rarely look at the soil and yet that’s what Jesus gets them to do, look at the soil. What kind of soil would you be in the story, the good stuff, the hard stuff, the shallow stuff or the weedy bits? I’m sure we would all like to be the good stuff, and if you ask the sower he will enable you to be good stuff for him whatever you do today.
May God Bless you

A Prayer
Lord God, I desire to be good soil able to bear fruit for you today, may people see Christ in me. Amen
‘Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvellous - how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born.’ PSALM 139: 14-16 (NLT)
