Day 10 - ‘in-a-minute’

Good Morning

There’s a lot of talk about mindfulness at the minute. It is not a new thing! Over 400 years ago Ignatius encouraged prayer-filled mindfulness.  He encouraged twice daily reflective times and imaginative reading of the scriptures. I would prefer to call it ‘spirit-filled ness.’ In John 1 v 37,38 two 'would be' Christians were behind Jesus and Jesus turned and looked at them and asked 'what do you want?'  Imagine, yourself in that situation this morning and Jesus Christ looks at you and asks you that question, ‘what do you want?’ Pause at the start of this day to answer Him in prayer.
I hope you have a good weekend.  With Love Kelvin <><

May God Bless you

A Prayer
Draw us, O Christ, by grace irresistible, to the centre of all faith and to the heart of all sacrifice; to the deepest of all wells and to a work that is not our own; even your holy Cross, to which we cling and by which we are held; for your own name’s sake. Amen"             Dora Greenwell (1821-82)

“Enfold us within the shadow of your wings, O Christ, that our wounds may be healed and that we may minister to the needs of others until their hurts are gone; for your mercy’s sake. Amen”        Terry Waite.
