Day 37 - ‘in-a-minute’

Greetings

One of the aspects of politics in any nation is that the politicians in the different parties say they would be good shepherds to the nation and the opposing parties say they are not as good as they should be.  John 10v14 has an answer to that:
Jesus said 'I am the good shepherd, I know my sheep... and I lay down my life for the sheep.'
Jesus says he knows us intimately, better than we know ourselves.
Even if farming and sheep and shepherds are not familiar to you, John 10:14 shows us a truth that our hearts long to hear.
That we are known by God. Jesus says to you today in John 10v27,
"My sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me, and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish."

Let us say together today,
“praise you Lord Jesus, our good shepherd, help us to be your good followers today.”

God Bless

 A Prayer
‘Father, I abandon myself into Your hands; do with me what You will. Whatever You may do, I thank You: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only Your will be done in me, and in all Your creatures—I wish no more than this, O Lord. Amen.

Charles de Foucauld (1858-1916)

A Prayer

Assist us, O God, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit; that we may praise you ardently, hear you attentively and pray to you frequently.  Being created by you, let us ever act for your glory, and being redeemed by you let us render to you what is your own; through Jesus Christ our Lord.       Amen John Wesley (1703-1791)

‘Go into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted world.  Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God.’   Philippians 2:15 (The Message)
