Day 32 - ‘in-a-minute’
I wonder have you been watching David Attenborough’s BBC series Wild Isles? I think it’s tremendous. In our Springtime the signs of change are all around us, bulbs are poking through the soil, bluebells in the woody glades and glorious wildflower meadows.
Spending some time either in the garden or on leafy walks can renew our appreciation of the seasons. Our story of faith began in a garden and one day we will see harmony restored when our Lord returns. Romans 8:22 says that the whole of creation is waiting in eager expectation when everything will be made perfect. Balancing the reality of our troubled world with the promise of Jesus’s return is central to our faith.
When we see so much suffering around us we need to remember there is a bigger picture, we have a heavenly home.
I hope this springtime you find some time to be amongst the beauty of the season and with people who enliven and encourage you in your faith and, of course, time with our Lord whose promise is trustworthy – he’s coming back.
Have a good day
