Day 24 - ‘in-a-minute’
Good Morning
Before we get into Holy Week and Easter, I wanted to give you some thoughts about being focused on our Lord's victory on the cross. So where you are, at your computer, on your phone, especially if there are distractions or other people around you, let us focus. The Lord is risen, he is here, with us, all around us, constantly reaching out to us, even in the most unlikely situations.
1 Peter 1:4 "by his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."
Let us experiment with a pause for peace right now…
Ready? As I focus on Jesus, I pause to remind myself that He is with me, now.
“Lord, may I never take the gift of your presence for granted. Fill my spirit with Your peace and joy.”
“Risen Jesus you speak to me through your Word. Help me respond to your word today.”
”Teach me to recognise your hand at work in my daily life.”
May our risen Saviour bless you today,

Prayer
God our Father, we pray for young people growing up in a corrupt and confusing world. Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you. We ask through Christ our Lord. Amen (Care)
