7C . The Wilderness Challenge

Here is 7C - the third set of 7 verses to learn. You are nearly half way to memorising 50 Bible Verses in seven weeks. Over this period you can add to your bible memory verse repertoire. By Internalising scripture in this way, you are equipping yourself to stand firm with the Word of God when temptations and trials come. In the joys and celebrations of life you will also have words of delight and praise with which to Bless the Lord.

NB Each verse is coded into five themes to give balanced learning

  • (b)  John 10: 27-28. My sheep listen to my voice I know them and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.

  • Galatians 5:22-23. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

  • Deuteronomy 4: 2. Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you

    These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
